Photo showing up to 16 of these dynamite sticks were used for each of the explosions it took to blast open the beaver dam. Fuse and cap were inserted at the end of the stick. The fuse burns at the rate of about a foot per minute.

Photograph of a huge metal culvert is prepared for installation in space. Formally occupied by the Kuldo Bridge. The old structure was removed after rot was observed in it's wooden stringers. Municipal crews will move the culvert into position in the draina ge canal and dump fill around and atop it. Columbia bridge was replaced earlier in the summer time.
