Photograph of Michael Nykolaishen (right) receiving a mounted ingot as a retirement gift after having worked for 19 years as a saw centre operator at Alcan.
Mr. Nykolaishen, originally from Manitoba, came to Kitimat from Saskatchewan circa 1956. He worked for Alcan for nearly two decades before retiring and moving down south with his wife.
