"Bright yellow T-shirts which most winners will have to grow into were presented to 8 students who completed more than 50 miles in the Run for Fun program conducted at Thornhill Primary School between February and the middle of May of this year. Receiving T-shirts presented by Don Smythe, District 88 school superintendent, were Connie Lyons, Tina Smith, Kerry Paulis, David Haits, and Shannon Dempster. Guiding force behind the program was teacher R.Thistle Walker who also got a T-shirt for jogging 50 miles or more."
