All three pieces are fragments of a broken/missing larger artifact. Extremely rusted and corroded, with multiple orange rust spots. Surface is highly susceptible to flaking and crumbling. Edges are jagged and uneven.
Entirely black. Black, truncated and cone-like bucket. Contains a shovel (988.11.2) as well. A coal scuttle is used to hold an intermediate amount of coal so as to be a convenient supply to an indoor coal-fed fire.
