Very well-kept for its age. Several loose threads, most noticeably halfway down the proper-right sleeve (about 7 cm underneath the Northumberland badge.)

Biographical Notes
Original owner lived in Kitimat as a young boy in the 1950s and was a member of the Cub Scouts (junior Boy Scouts).
Potroom work shirt. Shirt is Grey wool, it is very thick and in good condition.
Public Description
Grey wool undershirt (982.26) and safety goggles (992.10.1) were required dress for a smelter potline worker, 1954 on. Wool underwear was worn as a deterrent to hot metal burns. Donated by Ernest Goebel. Safety goggles donated by Della Bourque.
Black kilt belt with designs on metal parts (a), and animal crest on buckle, which has become disconnected from the belt (b). Part of Pipe Band uniform.
