Photograph of a cheque for $1213.42 was the result of the followers of Hope campaign organized by the Kitimat beta Sigma Phi. The money was turned over by the beta Sigma phi member Isobel Patzelt to KAMR president Tony Jenster while Alex Sinclair and Florence Dowker watch. A spokesman for Beta Sigma Phi said thanks go mout to all those who generously donated to the cause and especially to Mrs Helen Geyer, campaign chairman, and all the ladies who [participated. Funds will be used to purchase a bus for transporting the retarded to various functions.
