"Passengers who had been trying to leave the area since Friday were returned to the Terrace airport after snow slides on the road to Prince Rupert prevented travel to that city for flights south."

This is a 60,00 volt line of A.C.S.R (Aluminum conductor steel reinforced). The cable was made at Alcan's Vancouver works from Kitimat metal and the line was energized to supply the Endako Mines site, 37 miles east of BurnsLake.
