No, it's Jack Strickland of the Salvation Army and Kitimat Mayor George Thom letting the community know the Army is ready to charge ahead with the annual Red Shield appeal set for Monday, May 7 in Kitimat. This once a year door-to-door appeal is the single major support for the work of the Salvation Army in this area. The total goal for this area is $10,500 and the support of everyone is urgently needed."
