Photograph showing a man presenting a cheque to a woman on the bottom floor of the City Centre Mall. Behind them is a food kiosk, the stairs, and a couple of shops. Maybe sometime around Christmas because there is garland on the stairs and a small Christmas tree in the background. The woman has medium length hair, has clear glasses and is wearing a jacket scarf and a purse.

The cookie supplier has gone back to his original cookie recipe, so the flavor will be the old familiar one so enjoyed by many. Brownie Cheryl Kinton of the 3rd Kitimat Pack and Guide Kelly Malcomson of the 2nd Kitimat Company are two of the young ladies who will be participating in selling the one dollar a box cookies. They are also the Kitimat winners of the Kitimat Cookie Poster Contest. Their posters will now be sent to the provincial level for further judging, Kildala District Commissioner Marie Robillard (right back) said.
