Photograph of a bouquet of roses eight feet high soars over the head of three year old Gordy Ayer, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.S. Ayer, 31 Swallow. American beauty climbers have been a mass of bloom for the past month. Mr.Ayer, a former nurseryman, also grows cherries, apples, currants, strawberries, and garden produce.
