Miss Lenard is from Vancouver, Where she graduated from King Edward High School before spending two years at U.B.C. She teaches at Kildala School and her preferred subjects are music and physical education. She is a keen musician and is interested in swimming and bowling.

Mrs. Lemke taught school in Saskatchewan before coming to Kitimat in August 1957. Her home town is Janson, Sask. And she took her teacher training at Saskatchewan Normal School and U.B.C. A kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Lemke enjoys playing piano, and lives at 28 Partridge with husband Ron and son Derek.

Mrs. Lauer hails from Selkirk, Ontario, and she came to Kitimat in September 1962. She graduated from Hamilton teachers College before going to Queens University, Kingston, and teaches at Kildala school. Her Special Interests are choral singing and badminton. Mrs. Lauer and her husband Ed, live at 49 Brant Street.

Miss. Gunn Graduated from Mission City Jr. Sr. High School, Studied at U.B.C. and was employed at Bernard Elementary School in Chilliwack before coming to Kitimat in 1963 to teach grade 1. She enjoys living in Kitimat and hopes to stay a year or two longer. Among other things, she has a special interest in choir singing.

Miss. Cornborough lived in Kitimat and graduated from Mount Elizabeth Secondary School before leaving with her family for Nelson. She attended U.B.C. before coming back to accept a grade 2 teaching position here. She enjoys all sports and cooks and sews in her spare time.

Miss. Brown comes from Cloverdale, B.C. She graduated from Princess Margaret Secondary school and was attending U.B.C. before coming to teach Grade 3 in September, 1964. She plays hockey, bowls, collects stamps and sews in her spare time.

Miss Blight arrived here in August 1964 from John Oliver Sr. High School in Vancouver. Her preferred subjects are geography and English and her hobbies include collecting rocks and minerals and cooking.

Miss Akune is a graduate of the Richmond Sr. High School and was a U.B.C. student when appointed as grade 6 teacher here in September, 1963. her favourite subjects are art, social studies, math and her hobbies include sewing, reading and baseball.
