"It was a long time coming for the developers of the New City Centre Mall in Kitimat but the official Grand Opening was realized at last at 2 p.m. last Thursday, October 10. Appropriately enough, Mr. C.P. Erwin of Erwin Jewellers, the first retailer in City Centre was chosen to cut the ribbon in the opening ceremony.
