Two identical candlestick holders handcrafted by Norm Hansen, a millwright in Kemano. The top and base of each candlestick are made of aluminum fashioned in a disc-like shape. The 'sticks' are made of cylindrical rock core samples from the mountains near Kemano, and are marbled black-and-white in colour. The underside of each base is covered in green felt.

Likely sent to Rev. John and Marjorie Nute by a friend in Kitimat before they arrived to work for the Kitimat Presbyterian Church in summer 1977. Caption on back: "Winter of heavy snow in Kitimat. Year before we were here 1976."
