One man is wearing a hat, vest, pants, a plain shirt, socks that go below his knees and shoes. The other man is wearing a hat, a short scarf, a striped shirt, pants, and shoes. The woman is wearing a shirt, a skirt, a corset and has her hair in buns behind her ears. In the background is a wood fence that has vines on it.

"FIRST OF SEVEN Eurocan digersters was in place last Friday when the photo was taken and the others are to be installed at regular intervals. The giant steel vessels are held by the sling at left as they are lifted onto their foundations. Wood chips will be fed in at top and the digesters will be charged with cooking liquor and steam to reduce the wood to fibre."
