Framed photo of the Rio Tinto Alcan - Kitimat Modernization Project "Notice to Proceed" event. The people in the front are all holding commemorative shovels for the event and digging into a pile of dirt. There is a line of Rio Tinto workers behind them. The people in the photo include Michel Lamarre project KMP, Ron Leiback BC Operations employee, Brent Hegger vice-president Major Projects, Joanne Monaghan Mayor of Kitimat, Jean Simon president Primary Metal Group, Paul Henning vice-president BC Operations and Strategic Projects Western Canada, Henry Amos councilor Haisla Nation.
