Photograph of third prize winner in Alcan's annual Christmas lighting contest this year went to the A.E. Burnip home at 35 Pintail. The brilliantly lighted house featutred a display of elaborately construced and dressed snowmen on the roof of the carport. Pintail also took the street prize.

Baumeister home at 52 Egret.The striking display features a choir and organ in the foreground and three more choir boys off to the right as well as beautifully decortaed windows. The family will recieve 700 kilowatt hours of power free each month next year.

The decorations featured a red outlined start a top the chimney, a reindeer pulled sleigh on the rooftop and lighted panels along the front of the house. Judges viewed the entire town during a busy Thursday evening.

It is outlined with lights and the garage has been utilized to feature a large panel of the Three Wise Men following the start while a floodlight adds attractive lighting to the scene. High overhead is a "Star of Bethlehem" while seemingly ready to come on the driveway is the beloved figure of all children, Santa Claus.
