Three proud Little Leaguers were recipients of awards at the annual Little League banquet, Doug Whitehead, captain of Super Valu team (left) received the "most valuable player" award from Benny Nenson, Little League president. Mike Connolly of Builders (center) was named "most sportsman-like player," and Howard Weir, the "most improved player of the year."
