Comparing notes on all they had seen during the day were these delegates of the sixth Mining and Metallurgical Congress who visited here Wednesday as part of their whirl-wind Canadian tour. Mr.Owen made the presentation on behalf of Salvation Army Lt. Bill Young who was unable to attend. The citation reads "This certificate is presented in grateful appreciation of volunteer service to the community and welfare of others through the salvation Army." - Mrs. thompson, a member of the L.A. to Branch 250, has co-ordinated the Kitimat annual fund raising appeal for the Salvation Army for a number of years."
