Last week the Nechako signal was accidentally tripped at the BC Telephone office, the alternative activating point, at 4:30 am the siren blared for a few seconds, arousing several residents in the neighborhood.

It was discovered by students of cormorant school on a nature hike and following their complaint, there are intensive investigations being made by the Federal Department of Fisheries and by the Municipal Fire Department.

Instead the two Kitimat youngsters, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Sojka, 20 Heron, lined themselves up beside the rear of a pinto pony at Lake Louise, Alberta. The family then returned from a 5 week motor trip to Banff, Lake Louise, the Calgary Stampede, and a visit with friends, at their former home in Drumheller, Alberta.
