Photograph of the union leaders and executives of the Aluminum company of Canada met with the minister of Labor Lyle Wicks during hos tour of Northern British Columbia. Mrs. Wicks spoke to members of the Kitimat Kemano TLC and Allied Aluminum workers council. Picture shows back from left, A.W. Handford, assistant personnel manager; R.S.S. Wilson, personnel manager, Aluminum company; Tom Gooderham. TLC representattive from Victoria; J.T. Madill, manager of power operations; HC. Jenkinson, construction manager for saguenay Kitimat company; and G.P. Melrose, property department manager.

Photos for him was a hobby, and he took many photos of the smelter and townsite as it grew around him. Mike also took a number of photos for the Kitimat Northern Sentinel, during the Ken Brumley and Pixie Meldrum years as editors. Mike and his family left Kitimat in 1958, but he spent the best part of 40 years in the photographic field, mainly in the retail/wholesale part of the photo industry.
