Notes
Appears in the Northern Sentinel, April 26th 1979, with the caption: "It's Girl Guide Cookie time again! Kitimat Girl Guides and Brownies will be selling cookies door to door from April 27 to May 5 so watch for them. And for those who weren't pleased with the cookies last year, Division Commissioner Mary Anne Ball (back left) has good news. The cookie supplier has gone back to his original cookie recipe, so the flavor will be the old familiar one so enjoyed by many. Brownie Cheryl Kinton of the 3rd Kitimat Pack and Guide Kelly Malcomson of the 2nd Kitimat Company are two of the young ladies who will be participating in selling the one dollar a box cookies. They are also the Kitimat winners of the Kitimat Cookie Poster Contest. Their posters will now be sent to the provincial level for further judging, Kildala District Commissioner Marie Robillard (right back) said. So watch for the girls and support the Guides by buying a box of the tasty Girl Guide Cookies."
