His visit was prompted by a personal desire to see what was going on here, and he came in the days when Kitimat was receiving continent-wide publicity. His excellency is shown here in the left of centre foreground with an Alcan official. Facing the camera (centre) are Mrs.Graham Tucker of Kitimat's Anglican church.
