In the past Mount Elizabeth Secondary Band have also played for the ship's departure. While in Kitimat passengers have an opportunity to go on a bus tour of the town, the plant and the general area.

On their second trip to Alaska Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Swihart, California, camped with their trailer in Radley Park this week. They said they were impressed with the park's big trees & the salmon fishing in the nearby Kitimat River. Mr. Swihart, who is a school principal and his wife a school treacher, said they felt that they must visit Kitimat - "after reading about it & seeing it on TV in their home state.

Mrs. Bogaert, who has spent the past several months visiting Mr. & Mrs. Heisterkamp and their family, will leave Sunday for a holiday in Florida and New York before returning to Amsterdam later this spring.
