The big animal, which weighed about 400 pounds dressed, according to Mr. Sestrap, had a pure white cape, something of a rarity among caribou nowadays. Kilburn Eide of Terrace accompanied the pair on their trip. Mr. Linke has been hunting in this area twice a year for the past five years.
