Both pools, on completion, were turned over to the municipality for operation under the municipal recreation program. Pool supervisors are provided by the municipal playground staff during the two month summer holiday period each year.

The pool, a Lions Club project, was turned over to municipality at a ceremony last Saturday. Later the Reeve impishly turned the water on again while a number of youngsters, clad in spring clothing scurried to drier quarters. The pool will commence operation later in the season.
