Photo showing "RH baby supports drive". Jimmy Banks can grow up to be a fireman like his father with the help of the blood transfusion service of the Canadian Red Cross Society. Jimmy seems to like the idea as his mother, Mrs. Warren Banks, 1356 Albatross, shows him the kind of that he'll wear when he's a member of the fire department. Jimmy, 22 months old, was an RH baby, believe it or not, and he and his parents are strong supporters of the blood donor campaign in Kitimat.

Photograph of Cormorant school painting. The old story becomes new again in the eyes of these children gazing at the nativity scene. Mural is one of a series done by the children of cormorant school and hung on the walls of the school gymnasium. Every child in the school helped paint the murals and those done by the younger grades have tiny finger prints here and there to testify to the industry and enthusiasm of the artists. Shown above, caught in wonder and miracle of Christ's birth, are (left to right) Craig Petras, Patty Payne, Judy Strilchuk, Nadja Baron, Beth Coghill, Jimmy Banks and Alex Horbasz.
