From left: Al Baldwin - vice-president of Softball League; Joe Swityk - trophy donor; "Lefty": Scott - Johnson-Crooks team captain; Stan Schmidt - Johnson-Crooks manager; George Gorlig - Johnson-Crooks sponsor; Earl Melbourne - Comstock team, most valuable player of the year; Wally Schumanski - Comstock captain. Johnson-Crooks were housebuilders on the Alcan Project; Canadian Comstock (Mtl) were major players in the Power Operations of the Alcan Project.
