Centennial Park Kitimat, British Columbia Kitimat is situated in a scenic natural setting at the start of the Douglas Channel. It was built in the early 1950's around the aluminum industry - one of the first "planned" communities in B.C. This downtown park provides a quiet place to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.
