Early post glacial shells from the time when the ocean rushed into the Kitimat Valley to the 700 level. Shells are from Mickey's Cove (Moon Bay) South Northern Dock. The shells were exposed by the April 27, 1975 land-sea slide at Mickey's Cove, where "Rivtow Straits" had worked on new docking facilities. The slide started in the bush higher up and the shell slid down with it, indicating same as at Rod and Gun Club, that the sea level was much higher pretty recently. The shells are not fossilized.

18 vials, some numbered, some not.

2 Pebble Tools: 6 pebble choppers were found at Moon Bay (Mickey's cove) mud slide caused (Ap. 25, '75) by high tide level, dredging operations of Rivtow Striats Co., we took photographs of all the choppers numbered. 1-6, ours #6 on photo, greatest length, 5 1/2 width 4". 2 (likely)

Growth from Larch Polypore: L.L. found at Kemano River. The woody substance was pulped up and boiled and drank as a remedy against tuberculosis. It looks like a weathered piece of wood picked up from
the beach.
