Title based on content of photograph. -- The team lost 9-0 against Vancouver. It was noted at this time by League President George Madden that the Kitimat All Stars were handicapped by having to play on grass, which was very strange to them. Northern Sentinel Press Collection

The standards, some double, others single, all equipped with mercury vapor lamps will light Haisla from the intersection to the bridge, Commercial for its full length and Kuldo from Haisla to Columbia. Bases for the standards were installed in late November but the poles, which were made elsewhere, did not arrive in Kitimat until last week.

Lions's Club Annual Trade Fair opening at the YMCA, now Riverlodge, May 30, 1968. The First Trade Fair was held in 1963. By the fifth fair, 9, 362 people attended the three-day event and a parade with the Kitimat Elk Twirlettes, Kitimat Pipe Band, Mount Elizabeth Band and the Sea Cadets opened the event.
