Photograph of a bird's eye view of the territory around us is afforded by this specially constructed large scale relief of Northern B.C. on the view this weekend at the city centre. It graphically shows the power supply and network of lakes which were responsible for Kitimats coming into being as an industrial centre.

Notes
Chance for everyone to have a bird's-eye view of the territory around us is afforded by this specifically constructed large scale relief map of Northern B.C. on view this weekend at the City Centre. Just one of the many exhibits in the "Our Town." It graphically shows the power supply and network of lakes which were responsible for Kitimat's coming into being as an industrial center. Bob Muir, Public Relations Officer of Alcan is responsible for the display and will be on hand to explain the details.
