The Kitimat Business and Professional Women's Club was founded in 1957. Its purpose was to provide a network for local businesswomen. The club sponsored international dinners, a graduation tea, & two scholarships. The club disbanded in 1977.

The fonds consists of minutes, financial records, correspondence, constitutions, and files pertaining to the Arts and Crafts Fairs, the creation of K.O.A.T.A. and a Juried Art Show. Also includes 4 rubber stamps, and an album containing clippings, pamphlets and photos, gallary forms, Kitimat Community Arts Council logo, and a guest book.
Founded in 1970, incorporated in 1971, the role of the Kitimat Community Arts Council was to increase and broaden the opportunities for Kitimat citizens to enjoy and to participate in cultural and creative arts activities. Some of these activities include Arts and Crafts Fairs, sponsoring cultural performances and lobbying for funding for the Mount Elizabeth Theatre building. The council also sponsored K.A.O.T.A., a store selling local arts and crafts. The council disbanded in 1994.

Early post glacial shells from the time when the ocean rushed into the Kitimat Valley to the 700 level. Shells are from Mickey's Cove (Moon Bay) South Northern Dock. The shells were exposed by the April 27, 1975 land-sea slide at Mickey's Cove, where "Rivtow Straits" had worked on new docking facilities. The slide started in the bush higher up and the shell slid down with it, indicating same as at Rod and Gun Club, that the sea level was much higher pretty recently. The shells are not fossilized.

Tacking iron has triangular metal head with a temperature dial on top. Base of the head is painted green. It is attached to a wooded handle by a metal rod, rivetted to the head. Attached at the base of the handle is a rubber cord endinging in a two pronged plug. Protecting the rubber cord is a flexible spiral metal sheath attached at the base of the wooden handle.
