Scope and Content

Photo showing Crown Zellerbach further improvements to its fire-fighting resources in the area with the addition of equipment. The truck is a new $16,000 1500 gallon pumper unit which is continuously parked in active logging areas, ready for use in the event of a fire. It is parked beside a Crown-Z designed portable water tank, one of two on duty in the Kitimat area. This tank with a capacity of 3500 gallons converts a logging truck into a fire truck in minutes.
