"Sketch of the enclosed YMCA pool and beginners' shallow pool building has been submitted by "Y" directors to Kitimat Centennial Committee as a centennial project. Due to weather conditions the 75 foot by 35 foot pool, built by Lions Club with community support in 1962 is inactive during the greater part of the year."
