Connolly who were named at last night's organization meeting as temporary chairman and temporary secretary of the Women's Auxiliary to the Kitimat General Hospital Society. Extending a wlecome to the newly formed auxiliary are John Calam, vice-president of the Kitimat General Hospital Society and G.W.Whitehead, (extreme right) chairman of the committee in charge of the Kitimat Private Hospital."

Longtime Kitimat residents Mr. and Mrs. John Spitz were guests of honor when their friends entertained Saturday at The Chalet at a surprise dinner party. About 30 guests attended. In the above picture left to right are councillor Tom Smith, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Spitz and mrs. A.J. Barnfield. Mr. and Mrs. Spitz came to Kitimat in 1954. They are leaving at the end of this month for Ladner, B.C.
