A glass telephone wire insulator, with screw groves inside where you can screw the wood peg into. there are markings on the side that read "DOMINION - 16" as well as the number "48" inside near the top.

A dark brown wooden peg shaped as a wedge with two holes on the large flat side of the peg. the top tapers to a screw shape. The screw is used to screw into the glass insulator.
