HEAK (Hans Kuppers) was a political cartoonist who worked for Alcan and created a character known as Alman for the ingot newsletter.
A glass telephone wire insulator, with screw groves inside where you can screw the wood peg into. there are markings on the side that read "DOMINION - 16" as well as the number "48" inside near the top.
