Photo showing Front view of the first prize garden in the 1965 Sentinel garden competition shows the fine, grassed boulevard which is the crowning touch to the property, at 31 Kitlope, home of Mr. & Mrs. Fred W. Pohl and family. Judges this year commented on the number of fine gardens, and those that missed because a boulevard had been left untended or work has been concentrated on either front or back garden but not both. Judges recommened the municipality give a lead in a progressive program of boulevard seeding to improve general appearance of the residential areas.
