Photo showing Badmionton Night at 'Y'. Badminton is one of the most popular indoor sports in Kitimat. YMCA and Nechako Badminton Club both hold playing sessions twice a week. Nechako plays every Monday and Thursday and the 'Y' every Tuesday and Thursday. Miss Terry Coghlin, municipal employee and 1954 Queen, seen in action at 'Y' gymnasium, started playing badminton when she arrived here with her family in 1952.
