On Monday the theatre was packed with the audience waiting for more Christmas carols and skits which got everyone in the Christmas spirit. Cartoons were shown to round out the party. Photograph of around 200 children were on hand for the annual Christmas party of the Royal Canadian Legion. Santa, Harry Goodwin, is surrounded by left, Jessie O'Connar and daughter Wendy. Theory was Wendy would sing "I Saw Mummy Was Kissing Santa Clause," but the beard threw Jessie. Presents were distributed and "a fine time was had by all."
