"YMCA: SOME FUN: Big thrill yesterday for close on 50 boys of the YMCA Summer Fun Prgoramme was the visit to the Kitimat Fire Hall. Allowed to inspect the equipment and engines, the greatest fun came when Terry Enis (11) and David Yard (nine) got their hands on the hoses. "Nothing to it," said Terry. N. Sentinel."

"Bend Down! Sister! "Maybe it's doing it the hard way but these women in the YMCA Keep Fit classes throughly enjoy the Y Wednesday night workout. The Y offers classes Tuesday evening of a less stresneous nature which are well attended by about 20 women. Mrs. Mary Skabo puts them through their paces that night to recorded music. A more active group is shown here as they were drilled Wednesday in proffessional style by Mrs.Tony Coppens. Y authorities say the classes are popular, the main attraction being the oppertunity to lose weight. Apart from the weight angle, it's also a fine form of relaxation!"

"This flying young man needs no trapeze for his antics. He's Michael Voitchovsky, YMCA physical director, a graduate of a Switzerland school of physical education. All 'Y' members may take advantage of gymnastic equipment. Special classes are conducted Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesdays from 8 to 11 p.m."
