Photograph of second prize in Alcan's power division annual Christmas lighting contest won jointly by Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Reimann, 91 Oriole, and Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Oeste, 95 Oriole, who occupy adjoining houses. Light is arranged so that the Nativity scene in the centre and the side scenes of the Three Wise Men making their way to Bethlehem are emphasized, while the windows on the side are covered with stars. Above the text and manger scene shines the star that guided them to the Virgin and Child.

Here is a typical foundation for the two storey duplex houses of which 300 are to be done in the year 1955. Pre-cut lumber speeds the erection of the houses. First of these is likely to be a view within a month to six weeks. The ground floor is partially below the grade level.
