A log jam in the Kitimat River at this point is where a Kitimat man, David Hathaway lost his life. The 14 foot boat was sucked under in the heavy current.

Allowed to inspect the equipment and engines, the greatest fun came when Terry Enis (11) and David Yard (nine) got their hands on the hoses. "Nothing to it," said Terry. N. Sentinel."

The 81 piece Orchestra conducted by Meredith Davies will arrive by charter flight for the concert at Mount Elizabeth auditorioum Tuesday, March 30. Tickets are availabe now from any member of the association.
