Alice Dicker's father, Benard, came to Canada to work in 1955. He was a forman D-shift for Alcan. He married Anna in 1959. Alice and her sister Claudia were born in Kitimat and the family lived here until 1969, at which time they returned to Germany.

.Photograph of Mom won't have to worry about a dirty boy coming home. It was one of the favorite games played at Riverlodge yesterday for the final day of the Parks and Recreation summer program. The big tug, one of the largest serving the coast arrived about 4 pm Sunday. After being freed, the ship was moored at the dolphins and inspected for damage. There was none and she sailed for the Orient at 11 am Monday.

Photos from Kim Creed from the Iron Mountain mine sites. Kim worked at the mine. The photo collection shows the diamond driller that helped to drill out thousands of feet of drill core back in the early 1960s.
