The pair were en route to Smithers and Prince Rupert to attend the Northwest Chambers' convention today and tomorrow. The above picture resulted when Fred "Sentinel" Ryan met the "original".

"Pioneers of '54" refers to the workers and families that arrived prior to and in 1954 to build and work at the Kitimat Smelter and town of Kitimat.
