"BEVERLY McKAY, daughter of Mrs. Denise McKay plays the organ for friend Valerie Ditomassi (left) ast a party held last week in honor of Mr. Arthur Gribben, Vancouvar. mr. Gribben, BC representatives for Baldwin pianos and organs, met students and friends of music teacher, Mrs. Dwayne Johnson, at the gathering held in the banquet room of the Kitimat Hotel. Student "get togethers" are a regular activity with young people learning to play the organ in other cities in Canada."

Photograph of a cheque for $1213.42 was the result of the followers of Hope campaign organized by the Kitimat beta Sigma Phi. The money was turned over by the beta Sigma phi member Isobel Patzelt to KAMR president Tony Jenster while Alex Sinclair and Florence Dowker watch. A spokesman for Beta Sigma Phi said thanks go mout to all those who generously donated to the cause and especially to Mrs Helen Geyer, campaign chairman, and all the ladies who [participated. Funds will be used to purchase a bus for transporting the retarded to various functions.

"SEATED: in front of his organ and giving the keys a try-out is David Giesbrecht. The insturment which is approximately six feet tall weights more than 400 pounds. It was discovered by Mr. and Mrs. Giesbrecht during a recent trip to Fairview, Alta. The age of the organ is not known although it appears to be quite ancient and a plate on it appears to be quite ancient and a plate on the pedal indicates the deicision was patented in 1887, Mr. Giesbrecht is an Alcan Employee."
