Photos of early Kitimat life, including Hans W. Harnoth and Shirley Harnoth, parents of Harry Harnoth. Hans. W. Harnoth was born in Berlin but immigrated to Kitimat after hearing about job opportunities at Alcan. Hans and Shirley Harnoth were in Kitimat from 1955-1958, and always ranted and raved about how beautiful Kitimat was and all the wonders it has to offer.

Photograph of third prize winner in Alcan's annual Christmas lighting contest this year went to the A.E. Burnip home at 35 Pintail. The brilliantly lighted house featutred a display of elaborately construced and dressed snowmen on the roof of the carport. Pintail also took the street prize.

On Monday the theatre was packed with the audience waiting for more Christmas carols and skits which got everyone in the Christmas spirit. Cartoons were shown to round out the party.
