Photo showing power distribution crew is shown above erecting new double-arm aluminum light standards along the centre island at the Haisla-Kuldo intersection. The standards, some double, others single, all equipped with mercury vapor lamps will light Haisla from the intersection to the bridge, Commercial for its full length and Kuldo from Haisla to Columbia. Title based on content of photograph. -- Famed Canadian documentary photographer Malak Karsh was hired in the 1950s by Alcan to take photographs of Arvida and Kitimat.
