Photo showing- The "original" Fred Ryan, pioneer Kitimat businessman, just as cheery and bouncy but somewhat stouter, was a business visitor this week in company with Hisashi "Mike" Nakamoto (left), senior art director of a San Francisco advertising firm. The pair were en route to Smithers and Prince Rupert to attend the Northwest Chambers' convention today and tomorrow. The above picture resulted when Fred "Sentinel" Ryan met the "original".
