Photograph of a young cadet above takes the ships wheel under watchful eye of the skipper, Lieut. Crd. Jim Butterfield during the short afterschool cruise of HMCS Oriole Tuesday. Same of the 36 young would be sailors are seen behind. An estimated 5,000 persons took advantage of the ships invitation to come aboard. The dock was filled with spectators Saturday night for fireworks show which sent rockets flashing and barging over harbour.
